Community workshop -- A green vision for San Rafael: The city will hold a free vision workshop for community members to imagine a green future. We want to hear from residents, business owners, and community members about their ideas on purchasing, recycling, sea level rise, weather adaptation, energy, land use, transportation, green building and urban forestry. Camp for at-risk and low-income youth ages 11-13: Activities are facilitated by local law enforcement officers. The goal is to foster rapport between children and peace officers in a personal and relaxed setting and provide children with a positive outdoor experience that exposes them to and teaches them about nature.
