Every Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10:00-12:30, we open our on site food bank to our community. After we return from the Marin Community Food Bank, you will help upload the van, sort the items – usually consisting of breads, grains, fruits, juices, vegetables, milk, and canned goods – stock our shelves, assemble different packages of food, and then help us distribute the food to the community members that come to our doors for such assistance.  There is typically a flurry of activity in our waiting area during this time. We usually have very little, if anything, left over. This would be a fun experience for your group, and an excellent way to witness how our organization has a direct impact on our community by providing a basic need. This project is recommended for 3-5 people.
