| Skilled Teacher's Aide for our Economic Development Program |
We seek volunteers who are technologically skilled in one of the following areas: Microsoft Excel and Word, Windows XP, and Internet (search functions, banking, tax preparation, communication tools, safety) and would be comfortable leading or assisting a class discussion on one or more of the subjects. The class consists of adults striving to make everyday life more convenient, and more importantly, themselves more marketable within the job force. Classes will be held here at the Community Technology Center each Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7-10.
Volunteers should be comfortable with public speaking. We highly encourage volunteers to be comfortable with Spanish, however, we will have interpreters available if needed. This position is perfect for individuals with information technology or finance and operations type backgrounds. We encourage students, professionals, or retired professionals to apply.
