We are need of translators to assist our clients at various medical or judicial appointments. Translators work with written messages to and from the non-English speaking client. The position would be offered on an as-needed basis. If interested, please supply your availability throughout the full seven day week.
Translators only need to have moderate availability. Interested individuals must have a good driving record if they are to be meeting or transporting clients (with)in the community, determined by a third party insurance agency. We will need to make a copy of your DL and automobile insurance for our records. We may be able to provide a stipend for mileage in the event you drive your own vehicle. Volunteers must be fluent in French-based Creole, Spanish, Mayan, or Vietnamese and may be asked to undergo a fluency evaluation.
