Familias Aliadas de Marin

This group meets monthly and is facilitated by a therapist and a group coordinator. The group's emphasis is to use a peer-counseling model and to learn from each other's experiences as well as from the different workshops throughout the year. This group also participates in community and social events.

This program offers:

• Two meetings per month with parents around family and civic engagement issues. e.g. voter registration; immigration issues; community awareness; communication and parenting skills
• Various family events to promote parenting and family development
