Two major programs help
Canal residents become wage earners.
Our English as a Second Language (ESL) offers
classes for more than 500 adults per year.
The Community Technology Center provides
adult computer classes, giving participants the skills they need to secure
higher-paying jobs. We also help residents acquire affordable reconditioned
computers and provide multilingual tech support.
“It was such a good class, the teacher was funny and I didn't feel the 3 hours!! Students were asking me questions and I also helped the teacher with the computer while he explained stuff in the
front of the class... I felt like I was helpful!"
