Public Charge Information and Resources
November 16, 2018
What Canal Alliance is doing:
-
-
We began this discussion back in June 2018 when a leaked copy of the proposed changes was released, and we have been watching the developments closely as the current version of the proposed changes were released on September 23, 2018.
-
-
-
We will continue to provide only accurate and current information for clients who are concerned about how these changes will affect their immigration cases and their family’s well-being.
-
-
-
We will submit a public comment on behalf of our organization in opposition to the proposed changes.
-
-
We will continue to partner with other organizations that will allow us to educate and empower our community to take a stand. On November 27th, we’ll be co-hosting a Community Meeting with Marin Community Clinics to bring accurate and reliable information to those that need it most.
What you can do:
-
-
