Canal Alliance is a nonprofit champion of immigrants. We depend on the generosity and financial support of many funders and individual donors every year.

This holiday season, we’re making it easier than ever to support the impactful work that we’re doing to empower immigrants in our community.

Be a #GivingTuesday Champion

Every year, people around the world come together on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to give back to the organizations that are making a difference in their communities. Canal Alliance has participated in #GivingTuesday since 2015 and thanks to the generosity of our supporters and their networks, we have raised nearly $60,000 to make Marin a place where everyone can achieve their dreams.

This year, we need your help more than ever. Please consider becoming a #GivingTuesday Champion in 2019 to help us reach our goal of raising $20,000.

You can give to an existing fundraiser or team. Every contribution helps and together, we can make a big impact!

• $25 – Provides a gift card for families in need to celebrate the holidays.
• $100 – Supports a family in an emergency to meet urgent need.
•  $250 – Ensures that UP! Students have the opportunity to take a college tour at a CSU or UC campus. 
• $750 – Provides a year of ESL instruction for one motivated client. 
• $2,500 – Ensures comprehensive, affordable legal representation for one person. 
• $3,200 – Helps a family access behavioral health treatment for one year.

Creating an online fundraiser is a convenient and easy way to support immigrants and help your family and friends learn about a cause you’re passionate about! Once you’ve set up your fundraiser, use email and social media to invite your family, friends, and colleagues to make a donation.

Roll Up Your Spare Change with Cheerful

Every time you make a purchase this holiday season, round your purchase up to the nearest dollar and donate that spare change to Canal Alliance. Just sign up once and start making purchases.
