Morris Stulsaft Foundation funds Canal Alliance headquarters project 

In May of this year, we were honored to be awarded $50,000 from the Morris Stulsaft Foundation in support of renovations at our new headquarters building at 711 Grand Avenue in San Rafael. We recognize that to build a resilient organization capable of leading equity work, our staff, many of whom are from the Latino immigrant community, must also be a priority.  

Thus, we set an organizational goal to become a local leader in workplace equity and serve as a role model for other organizations. This includes providing spacious, modern, light-filled offices where employees can do critical work to alleviate poverty and where clients can thrive. 

The funding from the Morris Stulsaft Foundation allowed us to make repairs to 711 Grand, modernize the space, and double the permissible occupancy to accommodate growing programs. The Morris Stulsaft Foundation has been giving to Canal Alliance continually since 1991, marking 23 years of steadfast support. It is funders like this that make our work possible.
