Canal Alliance College Signing Day!

Every spring, a new cohort of Canal Alliance University Prep (UP!) students decides which colleges they will attend. On May 8th, Canal Alliance staff, volunteers and fellow students celebrated with our nine graduating high school seniors as they made their announcements at our College Signing Day Celebration. 

This fall, students from the High School Class of 2019 will join 48 fellow UP! students who are currently enrolled in colleges and universities across the state. This year’s Seniors were accepted to 20 colleges and universities and intend to study Business, Engineering, Film, Biological Sciences, Nursing, and Management at the schools they chose.

Education is a critical component to empowering individuals and families to break the generational cycle of poverty.  To support their continued success, Canal Alliance is committed to providing ongoing support, coaching, and scholarship assistance to our students and their families as they pursue their dreams of earning a 4-year degree.

What are you looking forward to most in college?
