Featured Partner: EO Products

October 22, 2019

Canal Alliance is grateful to all of our community partners who make their commitment to the community central to their business practices. Today, we’re proud to feature our partners at EO Products, a company that mirrors our organizational values of equity and inclusion in their business and in their work within the community.

Our founders at EO Products, Brad Black and Susan Griffin-Black, built their natural body care company with the strong belief that participating in local community is not an optional part of business but a responsibility.

We are incredibly proud to join forces with Canal Alliance in the shared mission to make all feel welcome and together build a community where people can thrive. At EO,we have a strong commitment to a culture of inclusivity and run our business and brands with this intention. Our workforce and extended community include a diverse range of ethnicities, cultures, ages, sexual orientations, and more.

Our team is more than 160 people strong, the majority of which live in Marin County, and many of those live in the Canal neighborhood. We’re proud to give many folks the opportunity to work where they live and actively participate in their local community. Every employee is given the opportunity to take two paid days annually to volunteer at a nonprofit of their choice. We also donate to causes near and dear to our employees’ hearts, including our friends at Canal Alliance!

We also ensure that our family-owned factory is a safe and responsible place for our employees to work. EO Products has been a Certified B Corporation since 2011 and operated like a B Corp long before receiving official certification. We adhere to a quadruple bottom line: people, planet, purpose and profit, in that order.

Working together we can accomplish more than we ever could alone. We thank Canal Alliance for the integral work it does in the community and will continue to work in partnership to make our community a better place for everyone.
