Census Jobs Workshop
January 21 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am
We wanted to make sure you know about a unique flexible part-time job opportunity protecting our community’s interests, and an info session coming up on January 21st organized by Community Action Marin, Canal Alliance and YWCA San Francisco Marin: You can get paid $25/hour for flexible part time work in your neighborhood, while protecting your community. The U.S. Census Bureau is accepting applications and looking to hire now for Census Takers. We need Marin residents – especially those from hard-to-count communities – to apply for these jobs. At stake are millions of dollars in funding for important community programs, and representation in the House of Representatives. Non-citizens with work visas may be eligible for Census Taker jobs. Join us for an info session on January 21st to learn more. Bring your heart and commitment to stand up for those marginalized in our community. We’ll walk you through the job timeline, eligibility requirements and application process. Bilingual jobseekers especially welcome!
