  • Do you use PayPal when you shop online? Designate Canal Alliance as your favorite charity on PayPal and you can donate $1 every time you shop! It’s an easy way to have a big impact over time. To set Canal Alliance as your favorite charity on desktop, login to PayPal and visit the Canal Alliance page, then click the heart icon. On the PayPal mobile app, select Payments>Give>Set favorite charity. Then search for Canal Alliance, and click the heart icon on the Canal Alliance page.

Please note that we accept a very limited number of material items. We are currently accepting:

  • Gift cards (preferably Visa or MasterCard)

  • Diapers (we particularly need sizes 4, 5, 6)

  • The following toiletries:

An increasingly popular method of charitable giving, a donor-advised fund (DAF) can be an easy and flexible way to manage your giving and help you achieve your strategic philanthropic goals.

Making a gift of appreciated stock or mutual funds is a tax-wise way to support Canal Alliance.

An increasing number of donors are celebrating their birthdays, anniversaries and other milestone events by asking friends and family to make donations to Canal Alliance in lieu of gifts.

If you wish to do the same, it is easy to set up a personal fundraising page or campaign on Classy, which is our online fundraising platform. You may also set up a personal fundraising page on Facebook.

Our commitment to our donors

Canal Alliance will not sell, share, or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

This policy applies to all information received by Canal Alliance, both online and offline, on any platform (including the Canal Alliance website and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.

To the extent that donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
