Every day, our volunteers help Latino immigrants and their families in Marin to gain stability in their lives, access education, legal and social services, better employment opportunities, and so much more.
Food Pantry Distribution (wait list only)
Volunteers needed every Tuesday 8am – 11am. The Canal Alliance Food Pantry offers fresh produce and packaged foods for hundreds of families in the Canal neighborhood every Tuesday. Each week, volunteers provide support in unloading food, packing grocery bags, stocking shelves, handing out food in the walk-through system, and
clean up and take down of the Food Pantry as it closes. Volunteers must be able to commit to a minimum of one month (4 weeks).
ESL Teacher Aide (Distance Learning) – SUMMER
We are looking for new teacher aide’s for our Summer 2021 semester. Our ESL Program integrates relevant teaching practices in grammar, writing, listening-speaking, and reading in an inclusive environment that develops students’ language as well as the cultural awareness they will need to thrive.

SUMMER 2021 Junior Giants – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
This FREE program is 100% volunteer-based and is only made possible through the support of volunteers in roles such as coach, assistant coach, team leaders, etc. There are various opportunities for volunteers to get involved in the program, regardless of their sports or coaching experience or knowledge.
WHAT: Junior Giants youth baseball and softball program
WHO: Promoted for players ages 5 – 13, who otherwise would not be able to participate in a baseball/softball league. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
WHEN: June 15th – August 7th (Tuesdays/Thursdays 4 PM – 6:30 PM and Saturdays 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
