Canal Alliance is grateful to benefit from the support of many energetic, nurturing and committed volunteers. Every day, our volunteers help Latino immigrants and their families in Marin to gain stability in their lives, access education, legal and social services, better employment opportunities, and so much more.

Current Opportunities

Food Pantry Distribution (wait-list)

Volunteers needed every Tuesday 8am – 11am. The Canal Alliance Food Pantry offers fresh produce and packaged foods for hundreds of families in the Canal neighborhood every Tuesday. Each week, volunteers provide support in unloading food, packing grocery bags, stocking shelves, handing out food in the walk-through system, and clean up and take down of the Food Pantry as it closes. Volunteers must be able to commit to a minimum of one month (4 weeks).
