Updated 8/4/20: Due to ongoing COVID-19 health crisis we are taking a break from onboarding any new volunteers. Most of Canal Alliance’s programs will be on hiatus until further notice. Please check back here for future updates on volunteer opportunities.

Canal Alliance is grateful to partner every year with more than 500 friendly, energetic, nurturing and committed volunteers. Annually, volunteers contribute more than 14,000 hours of service to help hard-working Latino immigrants and their families gain stability and well-being, access education and legal services, find better employment opportunities, and improve their financial security.

Education & Career

Recognizing that education provides a key pathway out of poverty, Canal Alliance offers education programs for youth and adults.

Canal Alliance is always looking for volunteers that further our mission of championing immigrants in Marin County.

Immigration Legal Services

Canal Alliance is the only provider of comprehensive and affordable immigration legal services in Marin County.

Advocacy & Outreach

Canal Alliance’s Advocacy team seeks to change the core systematic factors that cause economic instability among immigrants.
