Updated 8/4/20: Due to ongoing COVID-19 health crisis we are taking a break from onboarding any new volunteers. Most of Canal Alliance’s programs will be on hiatus until further notice. Please check back here for future updates on volunteer opportunities.
Canal Alliance is grateful to partner every year with more than 500 friendly, energetic, nurturing and committed volunteers. Annually, volunteers contribute more than 14,000 hours of service to help hard-working Latino immigrants and their families gain stability and well-being, access education and legal services, find better employment opportunities, and improve their financial security.
Advocacy & Outreach
Canal Alliance’s Advocacy team seeks to change the core systematic factors that cause economic instability among immigrants.
Canal Alliance partners with the San Francisco Marin Food Bank to offer a weekly Food Pantry for families to access free nutritious foods, fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Food Pantry Distribution – Link will take you to our community partner CVNL to apply for this opportunity. Please apply on CVNL.
On waitlist as of 7/7/20 & until further notice.
