Special Events Volunteers work with the Development staff to support the planning, promotion, and implementation of department and agency events.
Volunteers provide logistical and administrative assistance for planning events, provide on-site event support ranging from event set up, production and takedown, and help ensure that the Canal Alliance brand is appropriately represented through all aspects of event promotion and production.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older
Dates and times vary depending on events.
Support Canal Alliance staff in planning, coordinating and producing high-quality events.
Skills & Competencies
- Spanish proficiency preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with specific attention to detail.
- Cultural competence in working with diverse populations, including communities of color, immigrants, and persons of various ages, socioeconomic backgrounds, health status, and abilities.
