Partner Highlight: Toyota Marin

October 7, 2019

Toyota Marin staff volunteering at Canal Alliance

Canal Alliance is grateful to all of our community partners who make a commitment to the community central to their business practices. Today, we’re proud to feature Toyota Marin, who continues to champion immigrants and give back to make Marin a place where everyone can live, work, and succeed.

At Toyota Marin, we pride ourselves on being responsible members of the San Rafael community. Locally owned by a long time Marin resident, Toyota Marin is an 11-time winner of Toyota’s coveted President’s Award.

Our mission to provide value, integrity and trust extends not just to customers, but also to our employees and to the community. It’s simply the right thing to do.

Specifically, Toyota Marin is pleased to support local non-profits such as Dedication to Special Education (DSE), the Canal Alliance Enriching Lives thru Music (ELM), Toys for Tots, San Rafael City Schools, multiple youth sports teams, and the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce. We also support our employees in their charitable activities by providing work time to participate

To our customers, we also commit to delivering exceptional value, convenience and service. We endeavor to make it easier and easier to purchase a new or pre-owned vehicle and to have it serviced by a company that believes in supporting the needs of local residents.

Toyota Marin strongly supports equal opportunity for all. A very significant portion of our employees are of Hispanic descent. Notably, our General Manager, Diana Kennedy, recently named Talia Bazan as Employee of the Month for August 2019.

And with our motto of Continuous Improvement, we never rest on our past accomplishments, but rather work to embrace the changes occurring within our community, making us even stronger and more responsive to the needs of its residents.
