TPS Extension Update

Good news for TPS beneficiaries from El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Nepal, Nicaragua, and Sudan! TPS-documentation (including work authorization) has been automatically extended through January 4, 2021. There is no need to submit any application; the extension is automatically applied to all current TPS holders from these countries.

You can show employers this Federal Register Notice with your current EAD (Employment Authorization Document) as proof of the extension.

10/28/2019 – TPS Holders from El Salvador now have an additional year of protection and extended validity of their work permits! Work permits will be valid through January 4, 2021, and additionally Salvadorans with TPS will be given a transitional period of 365 days after the conclusion of TPS-related lawsuits.
